Fraternus ( is a parish-based ministry that helps to recruit and train adult men in a parish to become “True Mentors” who go and earn from the young men of the parish the right to be heard through building genuine friendships. The result is a strong, virtue-based Catholic brotherhood in which boys and young men are mentored into manhood. Fraternus operates on the principle that boys need mentors, rites of passage, and an experience of brotherhood in order to develop into mature Catholic men.
